Salary
$18 - $20 / HOUR
Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures and manage the setup and breakdown of the operatory. Provide patient education on oral hygiene and handle the sterilization of instruments and equipment.
Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is required, with proficiency in Dentrix highly preferred. Candidates must hold the necessary Dental Assistant and X-ray certifications as specified by state regulations.

Key Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment Take dental radiographs (x-rays) Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment Provide patients with follow-up instructions following all dental treatment procedures Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health

Requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting, leaning, and bending up to 8 hours a day. Will be required to carry, transport, and use tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
