What you will do: Knowledge and demonstration of Endeavor Health customer service standards. Knowledge of Endeavor Health policies and procedures that apply to job's area of responsibility. Manages, organize and plans the experimental work of the laboratory, with the approval of the principal investigator. Designs, sets up, conducts, and correlates a variety of difficult experiments (original and standard). Regularly reviews scientific literature. Evaluates and recommends applicable techniques and procedures. Analyzes and prepares results of research in conjunction with the principal investigator(s). Co-authors scientific papers for presentation and publication. Directly supervises various levels of laboratory personnel. Includes hiring, appraising performance, recommending salary increases, and taking appropriate disciplinary action. As requested, teaches others to perform technically difficult experiments requiring advanced knowledge of complicated procedures and techniques. Consults with professional research personnel in matters of research design, experimental techniques, instrumentation, and scientific inference from research results. Performs related duties as required or assigned. Participates in study design for genetic epidemiological studies. Performs statistical analysis and bioinformatics analysis.
