Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. Responsibilities include circulating in OB procedures, performing triage, and collaborating with physicians and anesthesiologists.
Requires an Associate of Nursing (ASN) and an active RN license in Indiana or a Compact license, with a BSN preferred. At least one year of Labor & Delivery experience and BLS certification through the AHA are required.
SHIFT: Full-time Nights

IU Saxony Labor and Delivery consists of 4 OB ED beds, 12 LDRP rooms and 2 OR suites. We are a level 2- LDRP and see some high-risk patients. Our unit staffs an anesthesiologist and OB Provider on-site 24/7. Our patients are with us during their pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum period.

Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to patient care policies.
