Perform prophylactic dental treatments including scaling, polishing, and X-rays while maintaining accurate patient charts. Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and build strong professional relationships to ensure a positive experience.
Must hold an active State of Virginia Dental Hygienist license and current BLS/CPR certifications. While one or more years of clinical experience is preferred, new graduates are welcome to apply.
Build strong relationships with patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience Screening patients and providing quality care during check-ups Educating patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene care Reviewing patient's history and charting Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing Documents area of existing restorations Use of X-ray Support the dentist with procedures as needed
Active State of Virginia Dental Hygienist license Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach Current BLS/CPR certifications Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience preferred - but new grads are welcome to apply!
