Performs and reports results of defined laboratory procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsible for specimen processing, quality control, and routine instrument maintenance.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology and national certification. Basic computer literacy and clinical laboratory experience are also required.
Utilizes laboratory skills to perform and report results of clearly defined laboratory procedures assuring optimal patient outcomes. Responsible for assigned shifts and subject to overtime and call back as required. Performs other duties as assigned.
