The Patient Care Assistant provides essential bedside support including cleaning, bathing, and transporting patients under RN supervision. They are also responsible for performing EKGs, Glucometer POC tests, and assisting with dietary tasks.
A high school diploma or GED is required, with CNA certification and hospital secretarial experience preferred. Candidates must hold or obtain BLS and conflict resolution/de-escalation certifications within specified timeframes.
Overview Responsible for the delivery of patient care by applying skills and techniques common to the practice of Operating Room Technician. The Operating Room Technician functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and performs tasks related to patient care.
Education: A high school diploma or GED and, Successful completion of a certification-eligible training program no later than 90 days from date of hire; Successful completion of a non-certification-eligible training program no later than 90 days from date of hire and preferred minimum of One year experience Licenses/Certificates: Current BLS certification within initial 90 days of employment; Certified as an Operating Room Technician preferred
