Provide mobile, person-centered psychosocial rehabilitation services to adults to remove barriers to recovery and community integration. Collaborate with service providers and natural supports to help individuals achieve goals related to housing, employment, and daily living.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or human services and at least two years of experience with serious mental illness or substance use disorders. Proficiency in trauma-informed practices and bilingual Spanish/English capabilities are highly preferred.
The Recovery Support Specialist provides mobile, person-centered, and recovery-oriented psychosocial rehabilitation services to adults enrolled in the CORE program.
Services are delivered primarily in community-based settings and focus on addressing psychosocial barriers that impact daily living, housing, employment, education, relationships, and overall community integration.
Services are individualized and focus on skill development, problem-solving, self-advocacy, and removing barriers that may interfere with recovery and community integration.
The Recovery Support Specialist collaborates with individuals, natural supports, and service providers to promote successful goal achievement while maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to program, agency, and regulatory requirements.
Required Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, human services, or related field Minimum of two years' experience providing services to individuals with a serious mental illness and/or substance use disorder Preferred Knowledge of recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and harm reduction approaches Experience providing employment support, education support or vocational assistance Experience using motivational interviewing and trauma informed practices. Experience navigating an Electronic Health Record. Bilingual Spanish / English highly preferred.
