We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity to help launch a new clinic while working alongside experienced dermatology providers in a collaborative and supportive environment.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works closely with dermatologists and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care while supporting medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services.
This role assists with patient intake, documentation, procedures, patient education, and clinical operations while ensuring an outstanding patient experience.
Required Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program Active North Dakota LPN license (or ability to obtain prior to start) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail Preferred Dermatology experience Previous outpatient clinic experience Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Multi-state compact nursing license
What You Will Do Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Obtain and document patient medical histories and vital signs Accurately document provider encounters within the EMR Assist physicians with biopsies, excisions, cosmetic procedures, and other treatments Provide wound care, suture removal, and post-procedure instructions Educate patients regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans Handle and label specimens according to established protocols Generate orders and coordinate patient care as directed by providers Maintain exam room cleanliness, supplies, and equipment Follow OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA, and clinic safety standards Participate in clinic training and support activities as needed Perform other duties as assigned
