Assists the labor team with deliveries, newborn care, and monitoring vital signs under the direction of nurses and physicians. Manages clerical duties and paper flow for labor, delivery, and post-partum patients.
Requires completion of a CNA or medical assistant program and BLS certification. Previous patient care tech experience and acute care experience are preferred.
Graduate of medical assistant program (preferred) or CNA training program required, BLS, CNA, MA-R, MA-P or MA-C.
Previous patient care tech experience required, 6 months Acute Care experience preferred, Bilingual Spanish preferred.
