About the role

The physician is responsible for the full cycle of patient treatment, including reviewing clinical history, performing physical exams, and diagnosing chronic and episodic disorders. They will maintain their own patient panel and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to provide high-quality outpatient care.

Overview Legacy Health is recruiting outpatient physicians for our primary care clinics located in the Eastside of Portland, Oregon.

Providers in these clinics include physicians and advanced practitioners, all of whom have been a part of Legacy for several years.

Our primary care providers are supported by designated MA’s and care teams that can include panel coordinators, social workers, RN case managers, behavioral health clinicians, pharmacy techs and pharmacists. $274k to $305k annually with two-year salary guarantee (1.00 FTE) Additional opportunities for productivity and quality incentives Opportunities for flexible FTE ranging from 0.60-1.00 FTE Flexible schedule with opportunities to work 3-4 days per week to provide flexibility $3,500 annual CME allowance, including 40 hours of CME Relocation assistance available Educational loan repayment opportunities (depending on eligibility) Eligible to participate in HRSA loan repayment opportunities Comprehensive and competitive benefits package, including Medical/Dental/Vision/Disability/Life/Wellness/Retirement 100% outpatient clinical practice Unmatched Epic/EHR support through our unique Super Thrive Program Dedicated, clinic-based nurse care management Social worker and behavioral health support Dedicated pharmacy support, including pharmacy tech and onsite pharmacist to assist with medication management, INR support and diabetic education Dedicated panel coordinator to assist with patient outreach and care gap closure.

Responsibilities

As a physician, you are responsible for the patient throughout treatment. Reviewing clinical history, providing the physical examination, diagnosing and treating both chronic and episodic disorders. Work in collaboration with the team. Maintain own panel of patients and share call coverage for the clinic.

Qualifications

MD or DO Graduate of a four-year medical school or equivalent and completed internal or family medicine residency. Board-certified or board-eligible in internal or family medicine. Licensure Current Oregon state medical license and DEA certificate. Unrestricted Oregon medical license. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Requirements

Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and have completed a residency in internal or family medicine. Required credentials include board certification or eligibility, an unrestricted Oregon state medical license, a DEA certificate, and BLS certification.
