Perform patient care and clinical tasks under the direction of physicians or Advanced Practice Providers in an ambulatory setting. Responsibilities include gathering patient data, administering medications, and coordinating specialty testing and consultations.
Requires a high school diploma and completion of an approved Medical Assistant training program or one year of applicable experience. Must hold a current BLS certification and a valid certification from a recognized agency such as NHA, AAMA, or AMT.
