The Nurse Practitioner evaluates and treats patients within the Lung Center service line. They administer advanced nursing care and prescribe medical therapeutics under the direction of a licensed physician.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Nursing and possess a Registered Nurse license and Nurse Practitioner certification. Experience in a clinical specialty practice is preferred.
Treats and evaluates patients; administers advanced nursing care in a particular clinical specialty area under the direction of the licensed physician. Performs a wide variety of patient care activities including diagnosis and the prescription of medical therapeutics or corrective measures in collaboration with and under the direction of the licensed physician.
