The Registered Nurse provides medical assessments, nursing interventions, and medication administration for individuals in behavioral health crises. They are also responsible for maintaining medication inventory and ensuring the safety of staff and clients within a 24/7 crisis stabilization program.
Candidates must hold an Associate's Degree in Nursing and be licensed to practice in New York State. A minimum of one year of experience in an acute care psychiatric setting, including work with co-occurring disorders, is required.

Per diem, day, evening and night shifts. Must have availability for all shift times.
Family Service League is seeking a per-diem Registered Nurse for the DASH (Diagnostic, Assessment, and Stabilization Hub) Crisis Center. The DASH Crisis Center is a 24 hour per day, 7 day per week outpatient crisis stabilization program that includes a 24-hour crisis hotline and mobile response team. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing health assessments, health education, diagnostic testing, and medication administration.
Associate’s Degree in Nursing required. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
Licensed and registered to practice nursing in the state of New York required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care, psychiatric setting, including experience with co-occurring disorders and/or chemical dependency required.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills required.
Ability to problem solve, make clear decisions, and work as part of a team required.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office required; experience with an Electronic Health Records preferred.
This position requires sitting for long periods of time.
