The COTA performs skilled tasks related to Occupational Therapy services under the supervision of a therapist. Responsibilities include implementing patient plans of care and participating in departmental operational and safety activities.
Candidates must be a graduate of an AOTA-approved program and hold a current West Virginia state license. Current CPR certification is required, and AOTA membership is preferred.
Experience preferred but not required. A thorough knowledge of the field of Occupational Therapy and the ability to work in co-operation with physicians, rehab staff members, other hospital personnel, and with patients and families. Current CPR required.
