Requires a valid LVN/LPN license in Texas or a compact license and BLS certification. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for experience in pulmonary care and bilingual fluency in Spanish.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Deliver compassionate patient care by partnering with the nursing and medical team to execute personalized treatment plans within your professional scope. Monitor and safeguard patient wellness through continuous clinical assessment, ensuring any changes in condition are identified and addressed immediately. Manage medication therapy safely, administering treatments with precision while vigilantly observing for adverse reactions to ensure patient stability. Empower patients and families by providing clear, accessible education on disease management and post-discharge self-care to ensure a confident transition home.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program permit (GVN) obtained prior to start date or job transfer date is required-OR-Temporary or Current Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license to practice in the state of Texas is required or must be obtained prior to hire or job transfer date-OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition through the Nurse Licensure Compact is required or must be obtained prior to hire or job transfer date.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
