Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant

• We are seeking a seasoned CDCA, LCDC2 or LCDC3 to join our committed and compassionate team of professionals dedicated to supporting individuals on their recovery journey.
• This full-time position is best suited for someone with strong clinical instincts, experience working in a fast-paced SUD treatment setting, and a desire to make a meaningful impact.
• Sun - Thurs 8-4:30, 40 hr week Key Responsibilities: Provide clinically sound individual and group counseling services to clients with substance use disorders.
• Maintain a focused caseload of 8–10 clients with appropriate documentation and follow-up.
• Complete SUD assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and coordinate care across providers.
• Participate actively in treatment team meetings, offering insight and leadership.
• Support program development by contributing ideas and approaches to improve service delivery.
• May assist in mentoring or guiding less experienced staff when needed.

Qualifications

Active CDCA, LCDC2 or LCDC3 license in the state of Ohio. Minimum 2 years of direct experience working in SUD treatment required. Must have a valid driver’s license or be able to obtain one upon hire. Solid understanding of evidence-based practices and a trauma-informed approach. High level of professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work independently. We’re Looking For: A clinically mature and dependable professional with strong communication skills.
