The facilitator delivers the RCA Substance Abuse curriculum to patients in detox and residential recovery programs. They are responsible for conducting 15-25 clinical groups per week and completing all associated clinical notes and paperwork.
A bachelor's degree is required, with a master's degree and one year of residential substance use experience preferred. Candidates must be eligible for independent licensure or hold specific credentials such as LPC, LMSW, or ADC.
Group Facilitator is responsible for the delivery of RCA Substance Abuse curriculum for patients in our detox and residential recovery program. The curriculum will be provided for the facilitator to ensure quality and consistency in its delivery. The facilitator will be responsible for 15-20 1-hour groups per week. The facilitator will also be required to attend staff meetings, trainings and other duties as assigned.

Works effectively with and through others including those whom there is no formal authority over.
Communicates well both verbally and in writing, creates accurate and punctual reports, delivers presentations, shares information and ideas with others, has good listening skills.
May work in various environments including professional offices, clinics, hospitals, or out-patient facilities. They spend much of their time on their feet, actively working with patients.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Travel is primarily local during the business day.
