The Nurse Intern provides basic patient care and monitoring under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse in a Coronary Intensive Care unit. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, documenting observations, and maintaining a safe therapeutic environment for cardiac patients.
Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited Nursing program and have completed fundamentals of clinicals. A valid CPR certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI is required.
In Senior/Final Year of RN School: Coronary Intensive Care (CIC)
A 24 Bed ICU involving various and extensive coronary and cardiac care, as well as general ICU patients.
