Provides comprehensive nursing care to post-operative patients in a same-day surgery setting, including monitoring and administering medications. Responsible for patient assessment, discharge coordination, and maintaining clinical documentation according to facility policies.
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current Registered Nurse license. Required certifications include current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association.
RN - Recovery
Assists in provision of nursing care to patients in a same day surgery setting. Assumes total responsibility for patient care in accordance with physician’s orders and centers policies. Monitors and controls use of and charging for supplies utilized in the center.
