Perform venipuncture on adult and pediatric patients while providing educational instructions regarding collection procedures. Collaborate with outside labs and maintain professionalism within a team-based Patient Centered Medical Home approach.
Requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross. Previous phlebotomy experience is preferred, with an applicable experience requirement of less than one year.
Performs venipuncture on adult and pediatric patients. Provides educational instructions to patients regarding lab testing collection procedures and testing requirements. Works well with outside labs and has ability to communicate in a manner that promotes clinic and lab professionalism as well as comfortable phlebotomy. We have a team based approach to support Patient Centered Medical Home.
