The Speech Therapist plans and provides speech, language, hearing, and swallowing services to adult and geriatric patients. They are responsible for developing patient-specific plans of care and collaborating with a transdisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered healthcare.
A Master's degree in Speech Pathology and a current state license as a Speech Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist are required. Candidates must also hold a current BLS certification, with two years of acute care or LTACH experience preferred.
