The Navigator coordinates and optimizes the patient experience across the continuum of cardiothoracic and vascular surgical care. This includes managing seamless coordination, providing patient education, and collaborating with surgeons and nursing teams to maintain quality metrics.
Candidates must be a graduate of a nursing or medical assisting program with a valid Montana license (RN/LPN) or CMA certification. At least one year of cardiothoracic/vascular experience is required, with BLS certification mandatory and ACLS preferred.

The Cardiothoracic/Vascular Surgery Navigator serves as a specialized clinical professional responsible for coordinating and optimizing the patient experience across the continuum of cardiothoracic and vascular surgical care. This role ensures seamless coordination, high-quality education, accurate risk assessment, and consistent follow-up to support optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction. The Navigator collaborates closely with surgeons, advanced practice providers, nursing teams, and external vendors to maintain excellence in clinical operations and quality metrics.
