Job description

2 East – Surgical – Registered Nurse\n\n * 2 East – 30 bed unit; primary focus – surgical, including all orthopedics\n urology and bariatric.\n * Individualized orientation program with knowledgeable preceptors focusses on\n clinical skill development and enhancement of professional role within the\n Med-Surg environment.\n * Full time (72 hours biweekly)\n * Shift: 12 hour Day \n * Every third weekend\n * Eligible for shift and weekend differential\n\nThe Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for implementing, directing\nand coordinating the care of patients through the use of the nursing process:\nassessment, planning implementation and evaluation. Included is recognition and\ntreatment of the physical and psychosocial changes unique to the age/population\ngroup served on the specific unit.
