The Cardiovascular Physician Assistant provides high-quality patient care by performing surgical preparation, peri-operative, and post-operative procedures. They assist cardiovascular surgeons during surgeries and manage invasive procedures and patient recovery.
Candidates must be graduates of an approved physician or surgical assistant program with a valid California Physician Assistant license and BLS certification. Experience as a cardiovascular physician assistant and proficiency in EVH and radial artery harvesting are required or preferred.
Under the direction and supervision of staff cardiovascular surgeon, the CVA provides high quality, cost-effective patient care by performing cardiovascular surgical preparation procedures, peri-operative and post- operative procedures, and assists in performing cardiovascular surgical procedures.
Preferred Qualifications: EVH and radial artery harvesting required
