Provide direct and indirect care to patients with functional limitations or disabilities within the Children's Therapy Services Department. Participate in team meetings, discharge planning, and adhere to professional ethics and departmental policies.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and a valid Tennessee State Occupational Therapy license. BLS certification is mandatory prior to starting in the department.
A licensed occupational therapist of the Children�s Therapy Services Department is responsible for direct and/or indirect care of patients served through the Erlanger Health System.

The employee must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. The employee must participate in team meetings and discharge planning. They must comply with the standards as set down by the American Occupational Therapy Association regarding treatment procedures and professional ethics. The employee must comply with standards described in the departmental policies and procedures.
