Perform routine and advanced ultrasound procedures while ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and accurate documentation. Act as a resource for less experienced technologists and educate patients and families about procedures.
Requires an associate degree or higher from an ARDMS approved program and at least three years of ultrasound technologist experience. Must hold BLS and ARDMS certifications, specifically RVT for the vascular lab.
On-call employees are required to respond to call within 15 minutes, troubleshoot problem, provide services off-site as needed and be available to provide services on-site as needed within 1 ½ hours of being called to respond.
