Requirements summary
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current Colorado RN license and BLS certification. At least one year of RN experience is required, specifically within Orthopedic or Surgical settings.

Nurse Navigator needed to support clinic and OR functions, including surgical scheduling, patient education, coordination with clinic schedulers, and procedural assistance.
Provides individualized assistance to patients, families, and caregivers to overcome barriers within the healthcare system and facilitate access to all of the resources available to patients.

Acts as a link between patients and care providers to facilitate clinical and supportive care services.
Functions as a single point of contact among referring physicians, patients, and other clinical caregivers for the purpose of empowering patients in dealing with the disease and the treatment.

Facilitates patient appointments for diagnostic procedures in the laboratory, imaging, surgery and other specialty areas.
Qualifications
Education
Current Colorado RN license or the ability to obtain.
Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
1 year of nursing (RN) experience BLS per American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date.
Experience
Ortho or Surgical RN experience.
Skills

Salary Range
$43.22-$64.83/hour
Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
