Participate in planning and evaluating patient needs based on behaviors within an adult crisis stabilization unit. Provide direct patient care and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment under the direction of a professional nurse.
A high school diploma or GED is required, with a preference for those pursuing a degree in Human Services or Psychiatry. Previous direct care experience is strongly preferred, and availability for every other weekend is mandatory.
The Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit is a 22-bed unit offering psychiatric care for the treatment of major mental illnesses where the average length of stay is 8 days.
7am - 3pm and 3pm-11:30pm / 24 hours weekly, including every other weekend and holidays.
The pay range for this position is $19.06 minimum to $22.95 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.
