Regional Colposcopist LOCATION: Vermont & NH Border / Connecticut River Valley region HOURS: Part Time 10 hours per week (1 day/week), Non-Exempt (Hourly) UNION MEMBERSHIP: This position is represented by AFT union in NH/VT POSITION PURPOSE: The Regional Colposcopist is a clinician responsible for providing high-quality colposcopy services in support of timely access to care in PPNNE’s Health Centers in the Connecticut River Valley region of Vermont, as well as Southern Vermont and Southern NH. This will be a one year limited regional role that will include travel one day a week (on a rotating basis) to Barre, White River Junction, Brattleboro, Rutland and Keene to provide colposcopy access. Although colposcopy care is the primary focus of this role, the candidate will be expected to provide MAB and contraceptive care when needed during times of low colposcopy demand. The role provides direct patient care and collaborates with local teams and clinical leadership to ensure trauma-informed, evidence-based, patient-centered services consistent with PPFA standards and applicable regulations. \n
Provide colposcopy evaluation, treatment, and follow-up care in accordance with PPNNE protocols, PPFA standards, and applicable clinical guidelines. Deliver trauma-informed, patient-centered care that supports informed decision-making, dignity, privacy, and access. Document care accurately and promptly in the electronic health record and complete required coding and clinical documentation. Collaborate with health center staff, clinicians, and regional leaders to support clinic flow, timely follow-up, and continuity of care. Support training, mentorship, and clinical skill development related to colposcopy services, as requested. Participate in quality assurance, chart review, competency, and clinical improvement activities. Contribute clinical expertise, as appropriate, to support other PPNNE services, including MAB and PAB. Support patient safety, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance, including HIPAA and OSHA requirements. Maintain required licensure, certifications, privileging, and onboarding requirements. Perform other duties as assigned, consistent with the scope and level of the role.

Pay Range - for this position is based on years of relevant work experience. Candidates with 0-6 years of experience can expect to earn between $45.46 - $53.64 per hour. As experience increases, so does the rate of pay, with candidates who have 17 or more years of direct experience earning up to $72.00 per hour.
Current Vermont licensure as a physician, nurse practitioner, physician associate, or other qualified independent practitioner, as applicable. Demonstrated training, experience, and current competency in colposcopy in accordance with PPNNE MS&G. Experience in reproductive and sexual health care preferred. Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to high-quality patient care. Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams and use electronic health records.
