Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA) - Orthopedics - Sharp Grossmont Hospital - FT - Days
Provides advanced nursing or physician assistant care in orthopedics, including patient assessments, diagnostic interpretation, and the development of comprehensive care plans. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and provides education to patients and their families.

Requires a Master's degree in Nursing or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program, along with valid California licensure (RN/NP or PA). Mandatory certifications include AHA BLS and ACLS, with a preference for one year of experience and DEA registration.
Maximum): $77.910 - $100.530 - $112.590 The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices. Patient database/documentation complete including history, physical assessment. Orders and interprets appropriate diagnostic testing. Identifies appropriate differential diagnoses.
Plan
Plan of care promotes optimal health outcomes and development of goals incorporates interdisciplinary input.
Intervention
Advanced nursing principles and practices applied per standardized procedures including furnishing medications as clinically indicated.
Evaluation
Patient progress towards goals evaluated and plan of care altered based on evaluation. Documents care/services per guidelines and SHC compliance/billing policies (department specific).
