Accountable for the assessment, coordination, and delivery of holistic nursing care to patients in an acute setting. Responsible for developing individualized care plans and maintaining collaborative relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
Requires a nursing degree and a valid California RN license or interim permit, along with BLS certification. Preferred candidates have a Bachelor's degree and at least six months of area-specific acute care experience.
EDUCATION Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Required Bachelor’ degree Preferred CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE RN - Registered Nurse of California - California Department of Consumer Affairs Required or RN-IP - Registered Nurse of California Interim Permit - California Department of Consumer Affairs Required BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association or American Red Cross Required DEPARTMENT-SPECIFIC SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE Each employee must successfully complete the Department Specific Requirements: ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (within six (6) months of start date). Interpretation of Basic Arrhythmia Test (within six (6) months of start date). Anti-Arrhythmic / Hemodynamic Drug Test (within six (6) months of start date). EXPERIENCE Minimum of six (6) months area specific acute care experience within the last two (2) years Preferred SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Must have demonstrated knowledge of basic nursing skills and effective English written and communication skills. Independently practices and prioritizes multiple demands in an ever-changing environment. Good interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) and teamwork skills are required. Pay Range is $76.40 to $101.18 / hour The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
