Requires a high school diploma and a current Medical Assistant certification from an approved organization. Must hold a valid AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and possess knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, and medical coding standards.

Under supervision of the designated supervisor and assigned physician, perform duties related to direct patient care and clinical support, ensuring compliance with organizational standards. Ensure completion of ordered procedures and treatments; support smooth patient flow. Perform general lab work, instruct patients regarding procedures and treatments, and ensure timely and accurate execution of medical orders and referrals. Handle registration, scheduling, and maintain Electronic Medical Record (EMR) files. Perform front office functions as needed, including patient check-in and check-out. May perform computerized physician order entry when directed by the physician. Precept current MA team members or externs as requested by leadership.
