The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized patient care plans within the Cardiac Cath Lab. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes and unit operations.
Candidates must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing with a current Alabama RN license and BLS certification. At least one year of critical care RN experience is required.

Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized patient care plans to achieve optimal outcomes. Provides age-appropriate, evidence-based nursing care while advocating for patients and families. Coordinates patient care and appropriately delegates responsibilities to healthcare team members. Collaborates with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and leadership to ensure effective patient care and unit operations. Documents patient assessments, treatments, medications, education, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards. Demonstrates clinical expertise, maintains competency in nursing skills and equipment, and serves as a preceptor, educator, or charge nurse as needed. Promotes a compassionate, safe, inclusive, and therapeutic environment while upholding patient rights and legal standards. Supports professional development, quality improvement initiatives, peer mentoring, organizational goals, and compliance with all policies and procedures.
Education/Training Graduate of an approved school of nursing. Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Baptist Health and unit/department. Licensure/Certification Maintains current State of Alabama RN license. Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification. Experience 1 year of critical care RN experience required.
