At NorthBay Health, the Limited License Radiology Tech performs x-ray procedures, limited to the scope of certification, by applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis at technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
Demonstrates the ability to meet the needs and provide service to all age groups-infancy through geriatrics.
Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations.
Assists and instructs patients during examinations.
Assists with clerical and other duties as assigned.
Reports all equipment malfunctions.
Cleans and inspects equipment prior to use.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES Performs radiographic examinations to the required level of ability.
Performs radiographic examinations in accordance to established protocols.
Assists and instructs patients prior and during examinations.
Responsible for evaluating each study to ensure it meets required quality standards.
Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations.
Responsible for inspecting and cleaning equipment prior to use.
Reports to radiology leadership and/or urgent care leadership regarding equipment failures and/or malfunctions.
Reports all patient complaints, discrepancies and drug reactions according to policies.
Responsible for processing images, burning CD’s, printing films, organizing paperwork and completing requisition forms.
Seeks out assisting others in the clinic during down time and works in other areas of department throughout the day, such as: front desk duties (i.e. scheduling, registration, working phones, etc.), rooming patients and obtaining vitals, or assisting with other duties as needed, etc.
Performs other assigned duties as assigned.

Days and evenings, including weekends.
Expected to work every other weekend.
May be scheduled at any of the Urgent Care locations with radiology equipment Hourly Pay Range: $35.90 - $43.63 (Hourly rate will be based on years of experience) Additional Compensation Note: posted rate includes a per diem differential
Requires a California Limited License and current BLS Certification. A high school diploma and graduation from an AMA approved radiology course are preferred, along with basic computer skills.
