Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour.
Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
This is an Hourly position.

Shift differentials

3rd
Shift: $2.25/hour
Weekend: $1.75/hour SIGN-ON BONUS ELIGIBLE! $1,200 Sign On Bonus with a 1-year work commitment. Must be of legal age to sign a contract, which is at least 18 years old, to be eligible for a sign on bonus. Candidates under 18 years old may still be considered for the position but are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.

Unit

OVERVIEW: Welcome to Medical Surgical Acute Care! The Med/Surg acute unit cares for the adult and geriatric population. Some of the patient conditions you may see and provide care for include: gastrointestinal disease, blood stream infections, post procedural or post-surgical, pancreatitis, acute renal failure, pneumonia, congestive heart failure, asthma, COPD, urinary tract infections, infections requiring intravenous (IV) antibiotics, COVID, etc. New Mission Partners must display a positive and professional attitude and be adaptable to change.

Position Summary

The Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant (PCT/CNA) provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed. Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs.
