Patient Care Technician (PCT) - Telemetry

Up to $5,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

Position Summary

• Assists with professional nursing staff with the provision of basic adult patients.
• Assist with professional nursing staff with the provision of basic care to include: vital signs, hygiene and monitoring.
• Measures and records patients intakes, outputs, and temperatures (oral, auxiliary, and rectal) and advises supervisor of abnormalities promptly.
• Documents care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
• This position will also perform the role of a unit secretary as needed.
• Provides clinical and reception support and manages supply procurement, receipt and storage for the unit as directed by the Charge Nurse and/or Director.
• Enters orders/tests accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
