Apply to chat with a recruiter about the details! The Telemetry Unit department at Longmont United Hospital has 36 beds, we treat anything heart related. We are part of a small community hospital and fill the niche for step down and med/surg overflow with a variety of acuity patients on our floor, as well as cardiac cath recovery. Our patient mix includes those with pacemaker, stroke, heart attack, arrythmia and those with medication needs. The culture is one of prevalent kindness where we embrace new associates. As a Telemetry Registered Nurse at Longmont United Hospital you will assume responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient. Demonstrates personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values. As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for: Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient. Job Requirements In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: Required Experience: One year experience preferred Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty. Required Education: Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RN's Required Licensure/Certifications: RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact, Colorado Only: RNs working in Colorado under a multi-state license must obtain their CO RN license within 30 days of establishing residency, i.e., drivers license, register to vote, etc. Compact to Compact. Upon issuance of a new multistate license, the former license is inactivated. Requirements

Qualified candidates must have an Associate Degree in Nursing (or Diploma) and preferably a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, along with one year of preferred experience in nursing skills specific to the specialty. A current state nursing license or valid RN license from a National Licensure Compact state is required.
