Externs will gather patient histories, perform physical exams, and develop diagnostic and therapeutic plans under veterinary supervision. They will also assist in surgeries, manage medical cases, and produce professional medical records.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited DVM program and authorized to work in the United States. Professional liability insurance is required to participate in the program.

You will be assigned a mentor and work on the learning objectives as defined by your college program or to meet your specific goals.
