Administer and manage complex chemotherapy and biotherapy infusions for Gynecologic Oncology patients in an outpatient setting. Provide comprehensive patient education, documentation, and emotional support while collaborating with oncology providers to ensure safe clinical outcomes.
Requires a valid Registered Nurse license in Missouri or Illinois and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. A minimum of 2 years of clinical specialty experience is required, with a BSN preferred.

Washington University is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join its specialized, intimate 8-bed outpatient Gynecologic Oncology Infusion Unit at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. In this focused role, the nurse does not just administer medication; they become a vital pillar of support for women navigating their cancer journeys. Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of chemotherapy drugs, supportive therapy, and execution of clinical trial orders for our patients. Provides accurate counsel and education to patients and/or family at an appropriate level of understanding for the patient and/or family member regarding their disease process and symptom management. Initiative/Innovation Maintains required skills and competencies and participates in educational programs, staff meetings, skills day. Participates in continued professional development, attending educational programs, in-services, and meetings as needed. Participates in the committee and/or in special projects as assigned by management. Offers constructive solutions to clinical challenges and process improvement initiatives within the center. Attends required continuing education classes and completes annual competency requirements. Works with clinical nurse coordinators and physicians on development and selection of appropriate patient interventions.
