Schedule

• Full-Time - 40 Hours per Week

• Occasional Saturdays w/ Flex Time Off

Compensation

• - $140,000 to $170,000+ Base Salary, negotiable dependent upon experience

Position description

The new optometrist will work in a collaborative, dynamic environment with an integrated, multi-disciplinary care team.

Providers are supported by highly-trained clinical assistants and on-site management in a comfortable, modern outpatient setting.

Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to

• provide complete, comprehensive eye exams for patients
• diagnose and treat conditions of the eye
• provide coordination of care services as needed
• deliver preventative and healthcare maintenance to patients
• work collaboratively with other providers

Providers see a variable (and always manageable) number of patients per day, based upon patient needs and types of appointments scheduled.

The office uses the AthenaHealth EHR.

Requirements

• active OD credentials
• New York optometrist license - 1+ year practice experience
• contact lens fitting experience
