- Job Title: Post Doctoral Scholar- Cardiovascular Medicine Department: Medicine | IM Cardiovascular Medicine The Reventun lab has a position for an enthusiastic Postdoctoral Scholar to examine the role of genetic variants in endothelial cells in the progression of venous thromboembolism.
- The PD Researcher will pursue specialized research training, education, and experience under the guidance of Dr.
- Reventun; plans, designs, and executes experiments of considerable scope and complexity; collects and analyzes data; identifies and selects problems to be studied; develops and troubleshoots new experimental techniques and protocols; attends research seminars; contributes to manuscript preparation and supports technical writing; participates in the preparation of grant applications for extramural funding.
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in a biological or health sciences field Skills and/or Experience Preferred Strong research and data analysis skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a commitment to ethical research and diversity. We require applicants to have experience in animal studies, molecular biology techniques, cell signaling pathways, and prior training in the cardiovascular disease field; biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology, and genetics are strongly preferred; a scientific publication record is desired. Requires successful completion of a background check. Qualified candidates may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
