Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and staff through regular rounding and response to hospital codes. Coordinate with external agencies for the release of deceased bodies and provide grief counseling to bereaved families.
Requires a Bachelor's degree and a Master of Theology (or equivalent), along with at least 4 units of ACPE-accredited Clinical Pastoral Education. Candidates must be ordained or endorsed and obtain Board Certification within two years of hire.
