Assist in surgical procedures and maintain a sterile environment with a primary focus on pediatric patients. Ensure smooth operation of procedures across various surgical suites and special procedure rooms.
Requires a high school diploma, graduation from a surgical technologist program, and at least two years of recent scrubbing experience in an acute care OR. Must be proficient in at least two surgical specialties and hold an active AHA CPR certification.
As a Senior Surgical Technologist, you will be an integral part of the surgical team, ensuring the smooth operation of procedures. With a primary focus on pediatric care, you will work across various surgical suites and special procedure rooms, utilizing your expertise in multiple surgical specialties. Your role is crucial in maintaining a high standard of patient care and a harmonious work environment.
This position requires flexibility to work across various UCSF Medical Center locations, including the Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland and Walnut Creek.
