• Our seasonal positions require 2 years’ experience for most units with occasional exception requiring a minimum of 1 year experience.

• Under general supervision of medical and nursing staff, following policies, procedures and professional guidelines assists with surgical and endoscopy procedures; provides, assembles, and cares for surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment before, during and after procedures.
• Assists with cleaning, restocking, and processing of the surgical suite, instruments, and equipment, as needed.
• Identifies and reports situations requiring intervention to the RN or Clinician.
• Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Graduate of Surgical Technologist training program and current certification required. 2+ years of experience in OR. Ability to work in varied surgical settings and services such as general/GU, robotics, orthopedics, GYN, eye/ENT, neuro/neurospine. Must have Orthopedic and Neurosurgery experience.
