The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for measuring lung capacity, analyzing blood samples, and delivering ordered respiratory therapies. They also respond to emergency codes and rapid response calls to establish artificial airways and manage respiratory crises.
Candidates must be a Certified Respiratory Care Therapist with a valid TN Board of Respiratory Care license. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and PALS, along with the ability to work in stressful environments with minimal supervision.
