The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs delegated routine and predictable patient care tasks under the supervision of a Charge Nurse. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, basic patient care, and transportation of patients.
Candidates must have completed a basic CPR course and hold a California Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire. A minimum of 6 months of experience in a skilled nursing facility or with chronically ill patients is required.
CNA - Transitional Care Center at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance in Torrance, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 8-hour, Night shifts.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (Sub-Acute/Transitional) role is a non-licensed health care employee who performs delegated routine and predictable patient care tasks/duties and works under the direct supervision of a Charge Nurse. These duties may include, but are not limited to phlebotomy, EKG's, vital signs, monitoring, basic patient care and transportation. Responds appropriately to patients and families with knowledge of age specific needs based on scope of service of unit/department where assigned (Young Adult through Geriatric).
None, however, expected to recommend actions to Lead CNA and Charge Nurse.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
