Provide high-quality care to patients in the Gastrointestinal unit, including those with liver disease, cystic fibrosis, and trauma injuries. Support the Level 1 Trauma Center by managing patient needs according to established standards and policies.
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with at least an Associate's Degree and a current Ohio RN License. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred, and new graduates are accepted.
UC Health is hiring a Part Time Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Nurse (CN I) for the Gastrointestinal 8 East unit for the Night Shift at UC Medical Center.
The Gastrointestinal Nurse will support the Medical Centers medicine and Level 1 Trauma Center, delivering high-quality care to patients based on assessed needs, established standards of care and according to policy and procedures. This 16 bed unit has ratios ranging from 4 to 6 patients per nurse. This nurse will help manage liver patients (pre and post-transplant), cystic fibrosis patients, many off-service patients and some behavioral health components with medical needs.
