  • Technologist who excels in this role: Perform various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice as ordered. Monitors patient condition and respond to changes as appropriate. Prepares equipment and supplies, select exposure factors and imaging parameters, and ensures compliance with safety standards. Performs quality control checks on equipment; troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports malfunctions as necessary. Positions patients and perform imaging procedures. Analyzes results, identifies quality issues, and takes corrective action including repositioning or repeating procedures. Enters, transmits, and reports scan results accurately. Provides direct support in meeting departmental service levels. Participate in performance improvement and continuing education. Requirements

Must be a graduate of a Radiologic Technology program and registered with the ARRT in Radiology and Mammography. A current State of Nevada X-ray license and BCLS certification are required, with CT registration preferred.
