Registered nurse (Rn) - Labor and delivery

Labor and delivery – high point medical center our labor and delivery team provides compassionate, patient- And family-Centered care throughout the childbirth journey. Nurses collaborate closely with ob providers and interdisciplinary teams in a fast-Paced, supportive environment focused on safety, education, and individualized care. You’ll play a vital role in creating a positive, empowering birth experience for every family.

  • We’re looking for
  • Graduate of a Board of Nursing–approved nursing program
  • Active, unrestricted RN license (multi-state compact and/or state-specific based on practice location)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience
  • Additional certifications or experience may be required based on specialty

Preferred

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

What you’ll do

Deliver safe, patient-centered maternal care using the nursing process, clinical judgment, and evidence-based practices—monitoring conditions and adjusting care to achieve optimal outcomes for mothers and newborns.

Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams while promoting safety, quality, and accountability—maintaining documentation, supporting communication and delegation, and engaging in ongoing professional development and flexible patient care support.
