Perform routine functions in the surgical pathology area, including conducting gross examinations of surgical pathology specimens. Responsible for troubleshooting quality issues and handling escalated pathology cases under supervision.
Requires a Bachelor's degree and current state licensure if applicable. Preference is given to candidates with one year of surgical gross experience and completion of a NAACLS approved Pathologist Assistant training program.
Pathologists Assistant - Lewisville, TX, On-Call
$33.94+ per hour; employee may be eligible to receive shift differential of 10% for some or all hours worked on second shift and 15% for some or all hours worked on third shift. Additional details on shift differential will be provided if an offer is extended.
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

The pathologist assistant position is intended for individuals with appropriate education and training in surgical pathology. The individual in this position will be capable of performing all routine functions in the surgical pathology area, including some escalated issues and troubleshooting quality issues. The individual will be responsible conducting gross examinations of surgical pathology specimens under appropriate supervision.
